Before becoming a comedy writer Simon Craig spent 12 years working at major TV indies, most recently as Head of Development for Talkback (co-creating and writing on shows such as @Elevenish and Glitchy). Prior to that he worked as a producer in development at Zeppotron, having moved there from Endemol where he specialized in quiz shows, co-creating hit formats Pointless and Goldenballs.

Since focusing on TV comedy in 2010 he’s moved in and out of development to write on a wide range of shows, from panel to entertainment to sketch to prank to sitcom.

Simon has an excellent understanding of all stages of the TV production process, with an excellent grasp of programme format and tone, and a keen awareness of the unique DNA of each broadcaster. Well connected and well regarded in the industry, Simon is a multi-skilled writer who's equally adept at gags as he is comic ideas.
